- Nuts & Volts -- one of my favorites as it has projects from beginning to advanced
- SERVO Magazine -- very useful nuts and bolts robot construction
- Robot
-- more glossy and less informative than Servo
- MAKE: Technology on Your Time
- fun projects but often not enough detail. expensive
